Here's Where You Can Pick up a Free Toy in Brooklyn Before Christmas

Brooklyn gives! Many free toy giveaways start this weekend.

With the holiday season in full swing, many local nonprofits, organizations, businesses and elected officials will start giving away free gifts for children all over Brooklyn.

The free giveaways, some that start this weekend, are happening across the borough that will be sure to spread some joy and cheer to all Brooklyn children!

Saturday, Dec. 14

Free Toy Giveaway From Nonprofit Sesame Flyer Inc. 

Winthrop Beacon III Community Center, 905 Winthrop St., 11:00am to 3:00pm

The party will feature, Mr. and Mrs. Claus, live performances and more! All children must RSVP for a gift. All children must be present and accompanied by an adult at the designated time to receive a toy.

Peace by Piece Thrift Stores

6931 3rd Ave., 10:00am to 1:00pm

The thrift store and community center will be giving away brand-new toys to bring smiles to children of all ages. Whether it's a classic favorite or something new and exciting, there’s a gift waiting for everyone! No sign-up or registration needed—just come by with your family, and let the holiday magic begin! Supplies are limited, so they encourage you to arrive early for the best selection.

Boost Mobile

4822 Church Ave., Starts at 12:00pm

The first 50 kids to arrive gets a free toy from the mobile store!

 

Brooklyn Book Bodega/United Cultural Association's Toy Giveaway & Wellness Expo

P.S. 310, 942 62nd St., 11:00am to 1:00pm

The United Cultural Association invites you to their 2nd annual toy giveaway and wellness expo! Brooklyn Book Bodega will give out books for all ages.

Sunday, Dec. 15

Toy Giveaway at the Brooklyn Museum

200 Eastern Pkwy., 11:00am to 2:00 pm

Pick up gifts for your little loved ones while supplies last. After the giveaway, any remaining toys will be donated to local family shelters. This program is free and open to the public, and presented in partnership with Kinnect Foundation.

 

Senator Roxanne J. Persaud and Assemblymember Jaime Williams' Annual Toy Distribution

1222 East 96th St., 2:00pm to 5:00pm

Children, aged toddler to 14, must be present to receive items. Bring your camera to take photos with Santa!

Find Community Connection Project's Toy Giveaway

495 Flatbush Ave., 2:00pm to 4:00pm

Toy Giveaway Party at The Jamaica Bay Library

9727 Seaview Ave. at E. 98th St., 12:00pm to 3:00pm

The Off the AVE Foundation proudly presents a "Give Back to the Community" Toy Giveaway Party for kids at the Jamaica Bay Library!

Brooklyn Multi-Service Community Center

George Gershwin School, 800 Van Siclen Ave., 12:00pm to 4:00pm

Toys are first come, first serve and the child must be present.
