After a fire destroyed its home base in Red Hook, the Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition returns with an exhibition at Powerhouse Arts.

Keisha Scarville, winner of the 2026 UOVO Prize, brings an intimate meditation through her photography and installations in Bushwick and at the Brooklyn Museum this season.

Programming includes performances, markets, movie screenings and family-friendly events through October.

Scheduled performers include Al Di Meola, John Scofield, Bill Frisell, Mike Stern, Vernon Reid of Living Colour, Alex Skolnick of Testament, Eric Gales, Joel Harrison, Jackie Venson, Greg Koch, Andy McKee, Adam Rogers and Ally Venable.

"Sounds That Move," a three-day music festival on Scott Avenue, will feature five stages with live music, panels and workshops.

Events are planned for Herbert Von King Park and Brooklyn Bridge Park.

A free Mother’s Day weekend festival in Downtown Brooklyn features a flower bar, live performances, art activities and family programming at City Point and Albee Square Plaza.

The Billie Holiday Theatre hosts a one-night program marking Malcolm X and Lorraine Hansberry’s shared birthday with short plays and live music.

"Stevie: A Life in the Key of Songs" is a three-night celebration at BAM between May 14 –16, where five Stevie Wonder albums will be played live in their entirety by various musicians.

The Brooklyn Fan Zone will be at Brooklyn Bridge Park from June 13 to July 19, with daily programming and match viewings.
