Clinton Hill will get a new urgent care facility in the new year, reports Patch.
The new and first Brooklyn outpost of MedRite Urgent Care Center will be located inside The Posthouse, a brand new, 147,000-square-foot apartment building located at 504 Myrtle Avenue. The center is joining three other New York City facilities in Manhattan as well as locations in Rockland County, N.Y. and Florida.
"A team of experienced healthcare professionals will be providing fast and reliable walk-in medical services in the Clinton Hill neighborhood," MedRite announced online. "Once you've experienced the quality and convenience of MedRite Urgent Care Center you'll wonder why all medical care isn't this easy."
With walk-in, same-day availability and extended hours, MedRite aims to offer medical services to those who cannot always make regular doctor's office hours. The medical staff at the center can treat for most minor and serious non-fatal injuries and illnesses as well as general, preventative, pediatric and occupational medical services, according to its website. MedRite accepts all major insurances.
The Brooklyn location will be open Mondays through Fridays from 8:00am to 8:00pm, and on the weekends from 9:00am to 9:00pm.
The MedRite Urgent Care Center is expected to open early 2019, but no specific date has been set yet.
