A late-night shooting and stabbing in Crown Heights sent two men to the hospital, and police are still trying to figure out exactly what happened.
The violence broke out around 1:00am outside 1468 Eastern Pkwy, a residential building in the neighborhood. According to police, a 33-year-old man was shot in the stomach, and a 31-year-old man was stabbed in the upper back. Both were taken to the hospital and are expected to survive.
