Council Member Susan Zhuang, alongside City Council Speaker Adrienne Adams and Brooklyn Borough President Antonio Reynoso, announced a $1.5 million funding allocation for P.S. 128 in Bensonhurst.

The funding will support critical upgrades and renovations to the school’s auditorium, according to a press release.

“As a mother of two public school students, I know first-hand how important our public schools are and the value of a good education,” Zhuang said. “For that reason, I will always fight to ensure that the schools in my district have the funding they need.”

Zhuang commended P.S. 128 as an exemplary public school and emphasized the importance of ensuring students have access to the resources they need to succeed. During the current budget cycle, the council member has allocated or helped secure over $6.4 million for schools needing financial assistance.
