Nonprofit organizations and other eligible entities can now apply for Fiscal Year 2026 Capital Funding from Brooklyn Borough President Antonio Reynoso's office.
The funding program offers financial support for a variety of projects, including those related to parks, streets, schools, hospitals, economic development, affordable housing and cultural institutions, according to a press release.
The funding, part of New York City’s budget process, is designed to support infrastructure improvements and upgrades across the borough.
“Capital funding is an engine of transformation in our city, one that enables city agencies, schools, nonprofits and other organizations to make the physical improvements necessary to continue to serve residents,” said Reynoso.
Funding not only helps improve Brooklyn's infrastructure, but it informs which areas need more resources, he said.
