Brooklynites: What are your greatest concerns as residents?
Is it policing in your neighborhood? Is it a lack of small business development? Is it traffic and parking around Barclays Center? Or perhaps its the unabated rising rents.
Whatever your concerns-- big or small-- you will have a unique opportunity to air them at a special town hall meeting sponsored by New York City Comptroller Scott Stringer.
On Thursday, December 3, at The Brooklyn Music School, located at 126 Saint Felix Street, Stringer will hold Brooklyn Town Hall, a way for local residents to share what they feel needs improvement in the borough and also learn what the comptroller's office can do about it.
"The Brooklyn Town Hall will be a great opportunity to hold an open dialogue on the problems and issues that all New Yorkers face on a day-to-day basis and a chance to discuss real solutions," said Stringer. "The event will be open to all, unfiltered, with no topic too big — or too small — to raise.
"So I'm asking Brooklynites to mark their calendars, and come out on December 3rd for what I know will be a great conversation."
