I had my immunization shots as a child, so I didn't think too much to have my own child immunized shortly after birth and at her following doctor's appointments.
At our six-month check up, I wanted to re-read the information pamphlet to see what shots she had to have. When I got home I began to research some of the medicines, and 3 hours later I stepped away from my computer scared and overwhelmed at all of the commotion and controversy behind the medicines that are suppose to keep our children healthy and safe from disease.
I could not get past the claims of unsafe ingredients, drug patent owners that sit on the board of the CDC, and side affects that are far more dangerous that the original disease!
One of the ingredients that I learned was in the HepB and DTap vaccine was aluminum. Aluminum is a heavy metal that is used as an adjuvant, a substance that boosts the vaccine's efficacy and causes a greater immune response. According to Vaxtruth.org, aluminum is a neurotoxin that damages the immune system.
They state that there is aluminum in seven of vaccines listed on recommended schedule for children. For a list of vaccine ingredients part 1 (click here) & part 2 (click here)
Further research on the FDA's website (click here) shows the FDA conducted a study and found that the maximum amount of aluminum an infant could be exposed to over the first year of life would be 4.225 milligrams (mg), based on the recommended schedule of vaccines.
Federal Regulations for biological products (including vaccines) limit the amount of aluminum in the recommended individual dose of biological products, including vaccines, to not more than 0.85-1.25 mg. For example, the amount of aluminum in the hepatitis B vaccine given at birth is 0.25 mg.
The most disturbing of all the information I read was accusations that vaccines cause autism. The drug MMR, a vaccine for measles, mumps and rubella (also known as German measles) is being listed as the culprit in causing autism among our youth.
This theory has been disputed, and some doctors who have published studies have lost their medical license behind this controversy. Every mom has to decide what information to rely on to make informed decisions for their child's health.
I came across this video that I wanted to share with everyone. I hope it helps pose the question of what exactly are we giving our children, and how do we keep a handle on the amounts of venom we offer them for the sake of the herd immunity theory.
