The New York Liberty’s Timeless Torches dance team is celebrating its 20th anniversary with open auditions for the 2025 WNBA season.
The auditions will take place on Tuesday, April 15, at 5:30pm at Barclays Center, according to a press release.
The Timeless Torches, known for their high-energy performances and dynamic spirit, welcome individuals aged 40 and older who love to dance. No formal experience is required just enthusiasm and a passion for performing.
Since their debut in 2005, the Timeless Torches have become an iconic part of the Liberty’s game day experience. Featuring men and women over 40, the team includes seasoned entertainers, former dancers, and those new to performing, all proving that age is no limit to talent and excitement.
The team is led by Head Coach Christy Tolbert, who also directs the Long Island Nets Kids Dance Team, and overseen by Criscia Long, senior director of entertainment at BSE Global.
