Two men were shot and killed just hours apart in Brooklyn overnight, one outside a home in East Flatbush and the other near a park in the Tompkins Houses in Bedford Stuyvesant. Police are still searching for those responsible. The most recent shooting happened around 1:00am on Thursday on Beverley Road. Police say 38-year-old Brandon Sylvester, of Englewood, N.J., was shot in the chest after a dispute escalated. Officers arrived to find him wounded outside a private home.
