Police are searching for a suspect who they say was involved in a strangling incident Thursday night in Prospect Lefferts Gardens. Police say a 25-year-old woman was strangled in the area of Parkside Avenue and Ocean Avenue at 11:00pm. They say she was walking into a building when the suspect came up behind her and strangled her. Police say she began to scream "stop" and the suspect let her go before leaving the scene.
