A Brooklyn grandmother lost both her legs a few months ago and is in a wheelchair and is struggling to get repairs to her apartment. She also feels stuck in her home due to chronically broken elevators. Her daughter reached out to PIX11 News for some help. Lindsay Coker says the elevators at her mom’s Hylan NYCHA building in Williamsburg are inconsistent. She says her mom has missed dialysis appointments for weeks now.
