The NYPD says a shots fired incident led to a police chase in Brownsville. Police say they initially heard shots fired on Pitkin Avenue and Junius Street and then chased a man with a gun to Belmont Avenue. Police say one person of interest is in custody and they are searching for another suspect, a male wearing all black.
