A man arrested last month in a 2017 fatal shooting in Flatbush appeared in court on Monday. Dean and Rasheed Boland are accused of shooting and killing 20-year-old Justin Hackley when he was home from college in Flatbush during summer break in 2017. Dean appeared in court, but Rasheed, who was undergoing a mental evaluation, was not there. Rasheed was arrested in Texas in 2019. Dean had been on the run until he was arrested in Albany.
