As hundreds are dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Beryl that killed at least six people in the southeast Caribbean, one Brooklynite is stuck in Jamaica right now and shared her survival story with News 12. Sharon Gordon, of Flatbush, has been in Jamaica since Saturday. She said this hurricane was so powerful and she's just happy to be alive. "I was scared when I heard the winds and saw the waves because it was a time that we can see the sea and then it was the time that you couldn't see anything," Gordon said.
