Tragedy unfolded in front of 1345 Jefferson Ave. around 7:30am on Tuesday when a man apparently killed his girlfriend and then himself on a sidewalk in Bushwick.
Neighbors say they heard a couple arguing while running down Jefferson Avenue, toward Knickerbocker Avenue. A neighbor recalls being inside of her apartment when she heard a woman screaming “for her life” outside. She then heard three shots ring out and then silence.
