Police Searching For Suspects Caught on Camera Vandalizing a Tesla in Bed-Stuy

The vehicle was marked with hate symbols and the NYPD’s Hate Crime Task Force is investigating, calling it a case of criminal mischief.
Police are searching for two people caught on camera vandalizing a parked Tesla in Bed-Stuy. Investigators say the suspects carved the word "Nazis" and a swastika into the car’s doors before running off. The incident happened around 1:00am on Thursday in front of 730 Monroe St. Surveillance video released by the NYPD shows two men approaching the vehicle. One kneels down and begins marking the car before handing the tool to the other, who does the same. Both of their faces are clearly visible in the footage.
