A 1,000-square-foot triangular-shaped lot at 995 Washington Ave., located between Montgomery Street and Sullivan Place in Crown Heights, sold for $330,000 to a developer going by Washington Ave Dev LLC, according to DNAinfo.
You've seen the lot: It's right across the street from the Brooklyn Botanic Garden.
Now, construction is underway and the odd-shaped property, poised to become a four-story residential building, is already on the market for $2.5 million.
"They're trying to make the most with the square footage," said Lucas Dallavalle, the Bond broker at the 995 Washington Avenue site. "It's a great use of that very odd-shaped lot."
When completed the building will include two residential duplexes and space on the first floor and basement for a tenant like a doctor or architect.
