The former Studebaker factory-turned-creative-office space located at 1000 Dean St in Crown Heights will be making room for a new tenant: online health insurance broker, GoodScout, reported Crain's New York.
Currently, the space is doubling as the winter home of Brooklyn Flea. But the insurance agency recently signed a five-year lease for the second floor of the 3,187 square-ft space where the asking rent was $26 per square foot.
The firm will move into next month, more than doubling the size of its current office at 205 W. 54th St. in Manhattan.
The deal is a joint venture between Brownstoner Media, BFC Partners and Goldman Sachs' Urban Investment Group. Mr. Pegues represented himself in the transaction.
