Like it does at the end of each and every week, the weekend has arrived and feeling rather feisty! Perhaps you're going out of town this weekend or maybe you're already down in South Beach for Art Basel Miami... and if so, these event picks aren't for you. But if you're staying in the city for the weekend and more importantly, if you'll be running around Brooklyn, then here's somethings you might wanna check out.

Stay home and read an e-book. Here's a good one: A Rendezvous With Destiny--

Tough line-up of live music at Palisades on Broadway, in that Bushwick, East Williamsburg, Bed-Stuy nexus. It's an EP release party for HR, the frontman for legendary Punk band, Bad Brains. He's getting back to his Rasta roots with this EP that me made with Scotch Bonnets, a Reggae outfit from Baltimore. Don't expect classic HR or any Punk machinations...I actually don't know what you should expect, besides a bunch of fun. Check their Facebook Page for more info, but it's at Palisades, 906 Broadway: https://www.facebook.com/events/1508314659418880/
The Bed-Stuy Gateway Business Improvement District (BID) is holding its first-ever #ShopLocalNYC Pop Up event on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at the historic Restoration Plaza from 12:00pm -7:00pm.
