Brooklyn, the hoops game of the season is around the corner: On Thursday, August 21, at Barclays Center, Robinson Cano and CC Sabathia will host the Summer Classic Charity Basketball Game. Both Cano and Sabathia will serve as captains to two celebrity basketball teams headlined by additional honorary captains, Carmelo Anthony and Kevin Durant.

Join Mistress of Ceremony Angie Martinez and the entire Power 105.1 family; Sports Commentator ESPN's Jay Williams; Slam Dunk Judge NBA Hall of Famer Nate "Tiny" Archibald,  plus Ne-Yo, DJ Clue, DJ Khaled, Olympian Jazmine Fenlator, and former Detroit Piston Charlie Villanueva.

Team Sabathia has added New York Yankees Derek Jeter and Dellin Betances to the team as well as NBA host Damaris Lewis. Team Cano has added six Seattle Mariners: Roenis Elias, Fernando Rodney, Endy Chavez, Yoervis Medina, Jesus Sucre and Kendrys Morales.

Tickets are also available at the American Express Box Office at Barclays Center.  All ticket proceeds from the event will serve to benefit both PitCCh In Foundation and RC22 Foundation equally. The event aims to increase opportunities for underserved youth in the areas of education, wellness and fitness.
