On Saturday, January 17, the Restoration Dance Theatre once again celebrated the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with its annual dance tribute at the Kumble Theater.
This year's performance entitled, "Destiny Y2K15," was a special tribute to Carter G. Woodson, the Father of Black History Month, in the year of what would be Woodson's 100th birthday!
Check out these photos of this year's performance, led by Youth Academy Director Peggy Alston and choreographed by Restoration Dance Theatre's Artistic Director Karen Thornton and veteran choreographers Ronald K. Brown, Germaul Barnes, Abdel Salaam, Nathan Trice and more!
