Acclaimed actor Wendell Pierce (The Wire, Treme), is rehearsing now in Brooklyn for his debut appearance in the Billie Holiday Theatre's production of Brothers from the Bottom.
On Thursday, February 19, he will join award-winning journalist, documentarian and producer Soledad O'Brien for an evening of conversation at Brooklyn Historical Society surrounding "Brothers from the Bottom," a play that examines the interplay between the effects of gentrification and the bond between brothers in New Orleans.
