Adult Film, a Brooklyn theatre company, film group and artistic training center for actors, writers and directors, presents Other People’s Lives, a series of evenings of one-act plays that explore the complexities of human relationships.
With stories that delve into desire and the messiness of life, the performances promises to be raw, intimate and thought-provoking, according to a press release.
The plays will be shown at Unit J Theatre, 338 Moffat St., between April 10 and 27. Doors will open at 7:00pm for the 7:30pm show.
"With three first plays from New York's most exciting independent filmmakers, we’re continuing our work of breaking down this arbitrary barrier between the stage and the screen," said Matt Street, an actor with Adult Film. "In the digital age, it’s more important than ever to be amongst others, to have to deal with their lives in a real, meaningful way. We feel it’s time to be messy again, and aim for something greater."
