The Brooklyn Academy of Music is continuing its Free Music Series through June 5 at The Adam Space.
The series, curated by Lia Camille Crockett, features an eclectic mix of legendary and emerging artists spanning soul, jazz, hip-hop and Afro-Caribbean rhythms.
Upcoming performances include:
- Angélica Garcia | Thursday, March 20 – A bilingual singer-songwriter whose genre-blending music channels Latin, folk, and electronic influences.
- Blk Odyssy | Thursday, Apr. 24 – A rising star redefining modern soul with influences from D’Angelo, Kendrick Lamar, and jazz fusion.
- Lollise x Loboko | Thursday, May 8 – A powerhouse collaboration blending trans-African pop with Brooklyn’s underground dance scene.
- Riccie Oriach | Thursday, June 5 – A Dominican artist mixing punk, hard rock, and traditional Caribbean rhythms into a sound that’s impossible to resist.

All performances take place at The Adam Space, at 30 Lafayette Ave., and are free on a first-come, first-served basis. DJs will keep the energy flowing before and after each performance.
