Shooter in Bed-Stuy Kills One, Injures Two at College Graduation Party

Police are on the hunt for an unidentified gunman who walked up to 525 Qunicy Street, between Lewis and Marcus Garvey, where an outdoor college graduation cookout was taking place and opened fire five shots on the crowd, killing one man and injuring two others.

According to 81st Precinct police, the incident occurred on Sunday, June 8 at around 1:00am. The gunman is described as a black male wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt.

The first victim has been identified as Cornell Clark, 21, who was shot in the chest. He was taken to Kings County Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The second victim was 17-year-old Damia Fraiser who suffered a gun-shot wound to her left hip. She was taken to Kings County Hospital where she was treated for her injury and is in stable condition.

The third victim was 19-year-old Nakia Logan who suffered a gun-shot wound to her buttocks. She was taken to Kings County Hospital where she was treated for her injury and is in stable condition.

The 81 detective squad has several witness to the incident and is currently investigating. No arrest have been made.
