Launch of the Project Management & Transformational Leadership Institute, lead by Nesty Delgado

Mayagüez, Puerto Rico – August 2024: We are excited to announce the launch of the Project Management & Transformational Leadership Institute, a new initiative from TEAM 1144, LLC, led by Nesty Delgado. This institute, in collaboration with the Continuous Education and Business Services Unit of the College of Business Administration (EDUCON-ADEM) at the University of Puerto Rico-Mayagüez Campus. (UPR-Mayagüez), marks a significant moment in our island's education and professional development.

This is a pioneering effort to support Puerto Rico's reconstruction and socioeconomic development.  At the launch event, the relevance of the institute in the current context was highlighted, as Puerto Rico now has over $120 billion in public and private investment for infrastructure development initiatives. This creates an urgent need for trained professionals who can lead these projects effectively with a transformational vision.

The signing of the agreement also received significant support from government leadership, with the Secretary of the Department of Economic Development and Commerce, Mr. Manuel Cidre, playing a key role in endorsing the initiative. His participation underscores the importance of this collaboration for Puerto Rico's economic future, aligning with the government’s broader efforts to drive the Island’s recovery and growth through strategic investments in education and professional development.
