State Senator Kevin Parker looks to be running for city Comptroller in the 2025 primary election, according to City & State New York.

The news agency reported that Parker, who represents District 21, is listed on the New York City Campaign Finance Board website as a candidate for comptroller.

Parker was reportedly running for Brooklyn Borough President just two weeks ago, according to Politico New York

There are several city officials who have declared their run for comptroller, including Brooklyn City Councilman Justin Brannan, Queens Assembly Member Jenifer Rajkumar and Manhattan Borough President Mark Levine.

Parker, who represents Flatbush and Crown Heights, is currently fighting a civil sexual assault lawsuit against him. Parker filed a response in court last month denying that he ever knew, communicated with, or assaulted the woman who accused him of raping her in 2004, Politico reported.
