Photos: Election Issues Unpacked by MSNBC Hosts at BAM

Brooklyn had a prime seat to MSNBC experts breaking down key topics ahead of the presidential election.

The Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) was host to MSNBC Live: Democracy 2024, an event filled with the news network's hosts and experts that unpacked the issues that will affect the November presidential election.

Rachel Maddow, Jen Psaki, Chris Hayes and Joy Reid were among the many experts on stage on Saturday, Sept. 7.

The event included multiple viewings of the documentary From Russia With Lev, which was executive produced by Maddow. The film follows the larger-than-life journey of Lev Parnas, a Ukrainian-born hustler and former small-time mafia operator whose random, almost accidental association with Donald Trump and his attorney Rudolph Giuliani took him around the world, and ultimately to prison.

In the afternoon, viewers got a chance to hear from Psaki, Hayes, Reid, Alex Wagner, Andrea Mitchell and Katy Tur during several deep-dive discussions on the issues that matter most to voters: the state of the 2024 presidential race, the changing electorate and the critical stretch of the campaign.
