Brooklyn Council Member Chi Ossé will host his annual tree lighting ceremony and a toy giveaway on Wednesday, Dec. 4 at Brower Park in Crown Heights.
Pick up a toy to make sure every child gets to fill the season with joy, and stay for lighting the tree with the whole community, the council member said through a press release.
The weekly Wellness Wednesday food distribution will occur at 3:00pm at Brower Park before the event, instead of the usual 11:00am distribution at Restoration Plaza.
The toy distribution will begin at 4:00pm and will run while supplies last, and the tree lighting ceremony with Friends of Brower Park will start at 5:00pm.
