Night in the Library will be returning to the Brooklyn Central Library on Saturday, March 16. The eighth annual event will include a marathon of performances, philosophical debates, music, readings, and lectures and will keep the Library open until 2 am on Sunday, March 17.
Attendees will join leading thinkers, scientists, writers, activists, and artists addressing the theme 'Out of Darkness.' Performances and conversations will challenge audiences to confront our difficult era with honesty and curiosity.
The Night in the Library is one of the largest events in Brooklyn, regularly attracting more than 6,000 people to Central Library for one epic night each year. Registration is encouraged but all are welcome.
