Fire officials are investigating the cause of a Saturday afternoon fire in a parking garage on Kosciuszko Street.
Around 60 firefighters were called to the 56 Kosciuszko Street between Bedford and Nostrand at approximately 3:31pm after a car in a commercial parking garage ignited and strong fumes and clouds of dark smoke began rapidly pouring out into the street.
An FDNY spokesman said it is unclear whether someone was inside of the garage when the fire department received the call, but fire officials are still gathering details.
The fire was put out at after 40 minutes, and there were no injuries.
