Beginning Wednesday night through most of Thursday, Winter Storm Pax dumped upwards of 10 inches of snow around Central Brooklyn, followed by two hours of icy rain.
And then... again around midnight Thursday, we were pounded with another six hours of unrelenting snow.
What does that make?
About 12 inches of heavy slush!
Be careful out there walking and driving. What may appear to be a huge mound of snow very well could be a rouse-- 10 inches of slush layered in two inches of fresh snow!
Remember, like icing on a cake, it's what is underneath that matters most.
