Applications are now available for 206 new affordable apartments in East New York. Located at, 2858 Linden Boulevard the apartments work underneath New York's affordable housing program.
With a wide range of amenities including outdoor terraces, a community room, and private parking, this is a newly constructed building that is prime real estate. It is constructed on behalf of the Mix and Match program of the New York City Housing Development Corporation (HDC), the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) and the Mandatory Inclusionary Housing (MIH) program of HPD in a city-wide effort to expand affordable housing units.
Individuals and households must meet a certain number of income and household requirements as shown below. And there is a percentage of apartments set off to the side for applicants with disabilities, municipal employees and residents of Brooklyn Community Board 5. However, anyone is encouraged to apply for the lottery process.
The deadline to apply is July 21, 2020. Take your time filling out the application. You will have to register on the NYC website before you apply. But, once you are registered you will be able to apply for multiple new developments. There is no application fee or broker's fee included in this process.
