I had never heard this quote from her and simply fell in love with it when I read it.
She was truly a sweet soul, and there are very good reasons that she and her life have taken on epic proportions in the collective mind.
I agree with Marilyn. We are all stars and we do deserve to twinkle! If only each one of us could discover that in and for ourselves. Marilyn wanted the world to see her that way and to be appreciated for who she was.
That was not always the case, as she was exploited by many people in Hollywood. But she did deserve to twinkle and to be loved, as we all do! I really think it starts with appreciating ourselves, loving ourselves and giving ourselves permission to shine.....and twinkle!
