Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy presents the Big Summer Pride Twirl on Saturday, June 8, from 4:00pm to 9:00pm, part of the Conservancy’s Big Summer Get Down series.

This free, all-ages dance party celebrates Brooklyn Pride, and is held at Pier 3 Plaza at Brooklyn Bridge Park. Attendees are invited to join in the festivities with Papi Juice & Friends, featuring DJ sets by New York City luminary Venus X and dynamic duo Kia, plus a performance by Essa Noche.

The Big Summer Get Down dance party series offers four opportunities to “get down” this summer and later in the fall, with all-age dance parties at Pier 3 Plaza. In addition to the Big Summer Pride Twirl on Saturday, June 8, other events include: Big Summer Party With A Purpose! Benefit Dance on Saturday, July 20, which presents a ticketed disco tribute to David Mancuso, attendees can join for an unforgettable celebration of music and dancing, with proceeds benefiting Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy’s free programming; and the Big Summer Chop and Vibes on Saturday, August 17, bringing Afrobeats, Amapiano, and Highlife plus delicious food selections, all curated by African Chop House.

This is an all-ages event, but youth under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Only adults 21 and over may purchase alcohol, which must be consumed on-site. No outside alcohol or glass bottles will be permitted.
