The countdown to the 2024 Brooklyn Caribbean Literary Festival (BCLF) has begun! Take part in the dynamic literary festival from September 5th to 8th for four unforgettable days of books and stories. 

Attendees are encouraged to book their spots now for in demand events. The festival will spotlight Professor Sir Hilary Beckles, Chairman of the CARICOM Reparations Commission, Haitian-American luminaries Edwidge Danticat and Roxane Gay, Trinidadian journalist and author Dr. Dominic Kalipersad, Locus Award winner P. Djèlí Clark, and many others.

Call for Volunteers

This year's festival will be held at three locations, Brooklyn PoetsThe Center for Fiction and Weeksville Heritage Center. There are a variety of festival positions for volunteers from greeters to ushers to tech support to help make the festival run smoothly for guests and audiences. 

BCLF accept volunteers 18 years of age or older and require a short training session via Zoom. All volunteers will receive an official BCLF T-shirt to be worn during volunteer shifts. To join BCLF, please register by August 23rd, 2024.
