The Weeksville Heritage Center is celebrating Black History Month on Saturday with an all-day event that honors Black histories and Black futures.
From sacred drumming and hands-on workshops to thought-provoking talks and some friendly trivia competition, the Center, at 158 Buffalo Ave., will commence an all day festival that will also include local vendors, free smoothies and desserts and social justice organizations making an impact right here in Brooklyn.
