A Williamsburg man who was struck by a car driver while cycling in Midwood last month has died of his injuries, police confirmed Monday. Cops said 47-year-old Felipe Velazquez died on Saturday, March 30, at Maimonides Midwood Community Hospital after being critically injured by the 30-year-old driver of a Kia Sportage, who struck him in the intersection of Avenue O and East 16th Street on March 13.
