Two Injured in East New York House Fire; Six Displaced

Over 60 firefighters responded to the blaze on New Jersey Avenue, which left two with minor injuries and a family needing temporary housing.
A house fire left two people hurt Saturday night in East New York, according to officials. Multiple fire trucks responded to the scene on New Jersey Avenue between Blake and Dumont. Officials say 60 fire and EMS workers helped extinguish the fire within an hour. The two victims were hospitalized and treated for minor injuries.
