Teenager Wounded After Stabbing in Coney Island

No arrests have been made. Police are still investigating what may have led up to the incident.
A 16-year-old boy was stabbed in the leg at the Coney Island Stillwell Avenue station, police say. The incident happened between Stillwell and Surf Avenues around 8:00am. Police say the victim was on board a D train when he got into a verbal dispute with three teens. Things escalated and became physical, and the victim was stabbed with a sharp object. News 12 is told that the 16-year-old was taken to the hospital and is expected to be OK. The three teens headed northbound on Neptune Avenue. Click here to read more on brooklyn.news12.com.
