A power outage in Brooklyn left thousands of customers in the dark Thursday morning. Con Edison said a truck carrying dumpsters took down overhead wires around 7:45 a.m. Thursday in East Flatbush. The outage impacted 9,735 customers in the Flatbush and East Flatbush neighborhoods. Service was restored around 11 a.m., the utility said.
