The incident claimed the life of 25-year-old Denzel Chan.

The NYPD on Thursday released a photo of a man wanted in connection with the deadly shooting at the West Indian American Day parade in Brooklyn earlier this month. Five people were shot, including one fatally, along the route of the West Indian American Day parade on Eastern Parkway near Franklin Avenue in Crown Heights on Sept. 2. A man walked up to the crowd and started shooting, police said.
