An off-duty correctional officer allegedly shot a man in Brooklyn on Sunday, leaving him hospitalized after a dispute, authorities said. According to police sources, the shooting occurred around 12:40pm outside 721 Snediker Ave. in East New York. Officers from the 75th Precinct arrived to find a 19-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. EMS transported the man to Brookdale Hospital in stable condition, where he is expected to survive.
