One victim was a 71-year-old woman who was punched in the face on her way to work.

Two women were assaulted in Fort Greene in the span of three days last month, according to the NYPD. The first incident occurred at the Walt Whitman Houses public housing development on Carlton Avenue on April 22, when a 46-year-old woman was stabbed five times by a strange man wielding a pair of scissors. Cops said the victim, who was not identified, was stabbed three times in the abdomen and once in the thigh and breast, and told police she was also punched in the face by the assailant.
