The mother of a 29-year-old who was fatally struck at a Bushwick intersection is advocating for additional safety measures. News 12 previously reported the death of Philippe Haussmann, who was fatally struck by a box truck while riding his motorcycle. Haussmann's mother, Joann Perahia, as well as family and friends, have advocated for improvements to make the intersection safer.
