Man Arrested for Brooklyn Subway Attacks

The two incidents happened in mid-May.

A man was arrested for allegedly attacking women inside subway stations on consecutive days, according to the New York City Police Department. Andrew Robinson, 42, was arrested on assault and harassment charges, police said, according to Pix 11 New York. The first attack happened at 6:50am on May 16 inside the Atlantic Avenue subway station. Robinson allegedly approached a 49-year-old woman, slapped her in the face and ran away, according to the NYPD. The second attack happened at around 10:25am on May 17 inside the Halsey Street subway station. Robinson allegedly approached a 67-year-old woman, slapped her in the face, and ran away, police said.
