A 25-year-old man was fatally shot in the head early Wednesday on the same Brooklyn block where an ex-con was gunned down just last month, police said. The newest victim was shot outside an apartment building on St. Johns Place near Schenectady Avenue in Crown Heights just before 5:00am. Medics rushed him to Kings County Hospital, but he couldn’t be saved. The victim’s name was not immediately released. The shooter fled the scene and has not been caught.
