Police say a 35-year-old Brownsville homeless shelter employee was fatally stabbed early Thursday evening. Detectives say the male victim was found around 6:15pm lying in the lobby of 1691 New York Ave. with slash and stab wounds to the neck and abdomen. He was taken to Brookdale Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. A description of a suspect was not immediately available. Click here to read more on brooklyn.news12.com.
