The Brownville and Crown Heights communities are grieving the loss of two young people to gun violence. A 15-year-old boy and a 21-year-old man were killed within a mile from each other Tuesday evening. The NYPD has identified the 15-year-old victim as Heath Campbell and the 21-year-old victim as Nickalos Mitchell.
Campbell was coming home from school Tuesday afternoon when police say he was shot in the head in the lobby of the Rutland Plaza Apartment Complex in Brownville where he lived.
